I currently run Equities and Commodities trade processing for a hedge fund.

    I have worked for a Deutsche Bank and Citigroup in Commodities technology in various roles.    

   

I have worked for Barclays Capital as an architect in Commodities trading.

I have worked for BP, a world leading energy trading company, architecting, designing and implementing a Credit Risk solution based on a Murex MLC/MxML Exchange, Documentum, ASP.NET, Informatica ETL, Oracle, JMS and OpenAdaptor.    

I have worked at Schroder Solomon Smith Barney (now Citi), one of the worlds largest financial companies. I worked in the Global Corporate and Investment Bank as a technical architect.  

I have also worked for telecoms giant Motorola.

I worked in a number of divisions at Motorola: the Cellular Infrastructure Group in Vancouver B.C., Canada and the Global Telecom Solutions Sector in Cork, Ireland. I was a member of the Requirements and Architecture Group at Motorola.

Projects included C/C++ development, CORBA, GSM network fault management and industry standard 3GPP interfaces.

While at Motorola I drafted a new notifications log management standard for 3G networks on behalf of Motorola. I presented the proposal at 3GPP SA5-#18 in Versailles in February 2001. The latest incarnation of the specs are:
